APC Comrades, una go lef hakeh for me yah.😜 Maada Bio is benefitting from the Gender & Girls Rights credentials of his wife First Lady Fatima Maada Bio

There were lots of beautiful scenes yesterday at the new airport terminal. One of the nicest scenes yesterday was Mr. President holding his wife’s hand FIRMLY in public so the Whole World can know how PROUD he is of his wife – especially in the area of empowering our Girls to become stronger, bolder Women of Sierra Leone in the future.

Fatima is certainly NOT perfect (nobody is perfect) but she has unapologetically upgraded the narrative for our Women and Girls – and she has done so more than any other woman of our times. Fact.🌹

Good to see her husband celebrating her.

Nice scene indeed.
Na so ar say.

EDITORIAL: President Bio’s Support for Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equality

Yesterday, the new airport terminal was full of beautiful scenes, and one of the most heartwarming was seeing President Bio holding his wife’s hand firmly in public, showing the world how proud he is of her. This gesture is particularly significant because it highlights the First Lady’s tireless efforts to empower Sierra Leone’s girls and promote gender rights in the country.

President Bio is quietly and solidly leading by example, doing everything through action or show and tell. By publicly supporting his wife’s work, he is sending a powerful message about the importance of empowering women and girls in Sierra Leone. The First Lady is not perfect, but she has unapologetically upgraded the narrative for women and girls in Sierra Leone more than any other woman of our times, and we must commend her for that.

It’s refreshing to see President Bio celebrating his wife’s achievements and recognizing the critical role that women play in shaping Sierra Leone’s future. This is the kind of leadership that we need in our country, one that values and uplifts all members of society, regardless of their gender. We hope that more leaders will follow President Bio’s example and take concrete steps to empower women and girls in Sierra Leone.

In conclusion, we salute President Bio for his unwavering support of his wife’s work and his commitment to promoting gender equality in Sierra Leone. We also commend the First Lady for her tireless efforts to empower our girls and women, and we look forward to a future where all Sierra Leoneans, regardless of gender, have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
