RELEASE OF APPLICATION FORM AND CRITERIA FOR THE SPECIAL FEMALE RECRUITMENT INTO REPUBLIC OF SIERRA LEONE ARMED FORCES (RSLAF)
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) would like to inform all potential applicants that the APPLICATION FORM and the CRITERIA for the special female recruitment into RSLAF can NOW be obtained at the MoD website address at www.mod.gov.sl

The criteria for this all-female recruitment cover these conditions and academic requirements:
Any candidate applying as either an OFFICER CADET or a RECRUIT MUST:
a. Be a Sierra Leonean
b. Be single and should NOT be pregnant
c. NOT be a convicted criminal
d. Be physically and mentally fit
e. Be between the ages of 18 and 29 except that:
i. A SERVING SOLDIER applying for OFFICER CADET will be given an age limit of 30 years.
ii. A RECRUIT applicant having qualification in vocational, technical and artisan skills will also be given an age limit of 31 years.
a. OFFICER CADET
i. An applicant MUST have, at least, 5 subjects (including English Language) with C6 or better in WASSCE or its equivalent examination. Besides, an applicant with a Degree, HTC (Secondary) or HND has got an added advantage.
b. RECRUIT
i. An applicant MUST have, at least, 2 subjects at WASSCE. Besides, preference will be given to an applicant with qualification in vocational, technical and artisan skills.
The MoD/RSLAF would also like to inform all the applicants that they MUST attach the originals/photocopies of the following documents to their application forms:
The MoD/RSLAF would further like to inform all applicants that the CLOSING DATE for the submission of the application forms to the various recruitment centers is 9th January 2019. Therefore, applicants should begin submitting their filled application forms with all the requisite documents on 22nd December, 2018.
