My considered opinion is the the Manifesto is a professional and well-thought out document and road map.
However, very little was considered for elderly state men – the retirees. A lot could be gained from this category of citizens especially those who are still effective in terms of sharing their professional experiences in governance. They could form a nucleus of a National Think Tank or a Consultative Body. I see very little efforts being made by successive governments to pay homage to fallen heroes (by making monuments in their memory or even setting dates/days aside to remember them). Other nations around the world are doing it.
Let this New Direction give some thoughts to our ancestors (especially fallen heroes irrespective of party, tribe, region or association) to appease those who contributed to our present growth.
